Magpily, bibida sa ‘Rage of Angels’

MATAPOS magkampeon sa National Capital Region (NCR) Athletic Meet 2018 Chess Tournament Secondary Girls division ay sasabak naman si Woman National Master (WNM) Francios Marie Magpily sa unique women’s chess team tournament.

Ayon kay tournament organizer Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe, treasurer ng National Chess Federation of the Philippines (NCFP) sa gabay nina Chairman/ President Rep. Prospero “Butch” Pichay Jr. at Secretary-General Rep. Abraham “Bambol” Tolentino Jr. ang tinampukang Rage of Angels ay ma broadcast ng live sa YouTube channel ng NCFP sa Marso 10, 2018 sa ganap na 10am.

“I would like to thank Atty. (Cliburn Anthony) Orbe for inviting me to play in this prestigious and unique women’s chess team tournament,” sabi ng top player ng General Pio Del Pilar National High School na si Magpily, last year’s Shell National Youth Active Chess Championship top female performer at overall champion sa juniors division ng NCR leg ng chess.

Nagbigay naman ng pahayag si Atty. Cliburn Anthony A. Orbe na founding president din ng newlyformed Philippine Executive Chess Association (PECA).

Mangunguna sa Orbe’s Angels ay si Magpili kasama sina Woman National Master Jean Karen Enriquez, Christine Hernandez at April Joy Ramos kung saan ang team manager ay si Atty. Orbe , habang rerendahan naman ng Hermida’s Angels ay sina Rowelyn Joy Acedo, Mariel Batulan, Jellie Ann Magro at Judie Ann Magro na ang team manager ay si Ronald “Ron Matehek” Hemilda, top gunner ng Metro Pacific Hospitals sa MVP Olympics.
