Cop, 2 others hurt in Pagadian gun attack
A POLICEMAN and two of his employees were injured after being shot by motorcycle-riding gunmen at his lechon store, in Pagadian City, Zamboanga del Sur, Friday night.
Injured were PO2 Prometheus Remolador, of the Regional Mobile Force Battalion's 902nd Maneuver Company; and his employees Glendel Delator, 33, and Melchor Siso, 21, according to a report from the Zamboanga Peninsula regional police.
The incident occurred around 8:45 p.m., outside
Remolador's lechon store along Jamisola st., Purok Madasigon, Brgy. Santa Lucia.
Two men on a motorcycle stopped at the side of the lechon display booth and fired on Remolador several times, according to the report.
Remlador suffered wounds from a bullet that entered the left side of the chest and exited to the left shoulder blade and another on the left thigh.
Delator's face was grazed by another bullet, while Siso was hit on the right shoulder, according to the report.
All victims we r e brought to the Hofeliña Hospital, and are in stable condition, regional police spokesperson Chief Insp. Helen Galvez said.
Investigators found four empty shells and a slug from a caliber-.45 pistol, at the crime scene.
Local police are still trying to determine the identities, whereabouts, and motive of the assailants, who fled towards the direction of Brgy. Santa Lucia after the incident. — John Roson
