Balayan mayor sues 2 NBI agents for railroading rape case

MAYOR Emmanuel Salvador P. Fronda II of Balayan, Batangas has filed an obstruction of justice and grave misconduct complaint against two National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) agents before the Ombudsman for allegedly railroading the investigation of his rape case. In his complaint-affidavit, Mr. Fronda said that the victim he allegedly raped, a minor, wrote an affidavit in August clearing him from the case, saying it was her father who raped her. — Raynan F.
