Cebu Pacific to fly in ‘digital influencers’ from Singapore, Korea, Japan to promote Davao tourism
CEBU PACIFIC Air is bringing in “digital influencers” from Singapore, Korea, and Japan to Davao this summer for the Department of Tourism-Region 11’s Visit Davao Fun Sale (VDFS) 2017 campaign. Cebu Pacific Corporate Communications Director Charo L. Lagamon told reporters here that the foreign bloggers who will be flown in would be able to experience the tourist attractions in the region. “It’s important for us to tap this top three markets and tourist spenders in this part of the world and it’s only through bringing bloggers and digital influencers that other tourists make that decision to come check out the Philippines. And that is our partnership with the VDFS,” Ms. Lagamon said. VDFS Execom Vice-President Edmund I. Mayormita said these influencers/bloggers will visit Davao City, Mati in Davao Oriental, and the Island Garden City of Samal. —
