SIX YEARS ago, Rafe Bartholomew (photo) published his book Pacific Rims: Beermen Ballin’ in Flip-Flops and the Philippines’ Unlikely Love Affair with Basketball. He now hosts Hoop Nation, CNN Philippines’ newest documentary series, going immersing himself in the country’s colorful basketball culture. Hoop Nation airs Saturdays, 7 p.m. starting April 22 on CNN Philippines Free TV Channel 9.
