Pinoy Pride 40 officials named
ALA Promotions’ Pinoy Pride 40: Domination, which features the world flyweight championship of between longest-reigning Filipno Donnie “Ahas” Nietes and IBF No. 4 Komgrich Nantapech, announces the bout’s officials assigned by the IBF.
Referee Gerard White from Detroit, USA will join judges Gregorio Ortega (Phils.), Somsak Sirianant (Thailand), and Katsuhiko Nakamura from Japan. Filipino Fritz Gaston will be flying to Cebu to supervise the fight on April 29 at the Waterfront Cebu City Hotel and Casino.
Featured in the co-main bouts are two of Philippines’ most promising fighters: WBO International Featherweight champion Mark “Magnifico” Magsayo and knockout artist Jeo “Santino” Santisima.
Magsayo takes on Tanzanian veteran Issa Nampepeche while Santisima fights hard-hitting Indon Master Suro.
Completing the card are some of the county’s young prospects: Virgil “Valiente” Vitor from Tagbilaran, Bohol, Cebuano amateur sensation Junrel Jimenez, Kenneth Gentallan from Tagbilaran, Bohol, Sultan Kudarat native Esneth Domingo, and Christian Bacolod from Cebu City.
Tickets are available at the venue from Mondays through Sundays, selected RD Pawnshops, ALA Fitness Gyms Parkmall, BTC, and Paseo, and the ALA Promotions Talamban Office.
Ticket prices start at P5,000, P4,000, P3,000, P2,000 to P1,000 for VIP’s 1st-5th rows. Gold seats are priced at P700 while Ballroom and Balcony tickets are sold at P500 and P300, respectively.
