Cesafi se­lec­tion faces PSL pow­er­house F2 Lo­gis­tics to­day

Philip­pine Su­perliga (PSL) pow­er­house F2 Lo­gis­tics Cargo Movers and the Cesafi All­Star Se­lec­tion hope to put up a great show for the Ce­buano fans as they face off in the first Cesafi All­Star Week­end to­day at the Univer­sity of San Car­los (USC) Main gym­na­sium.

The game starts at 5 p.m.

Cargo Movers team owner Efren Uy said that the whole team will be in full force in their two matches against the Cesafi All-Stars to­day and to­mor­row. Even Aby Maraño, who is com­ing from a stint with the Na­tional team in a tour­na­ment in Thai­land last week, will be play­ing for the team.

“Ev­ery­one will be com­ing,” Uy said.

The Cargo Movers, the 2016 Philip­pine Su­perliga All-Filipino Cup cham­pion, is com­prised of Maraño, Cha Cruz, Ma­joy Baron, Kim Dy, De­siree Cheng, Dawn Ma­can­dili, Kim Fa­jardo, CJ Saga, Cherry Nu­nag, Ara Galang, Tin Ti­amzon, Fritz Gal­len­ero, Aduke Ogun­sanya and Shaw­naLei San­tos.

The Cesafi All-Star team will be com­posed of Therese Rae Ra­mas, her fel­low SWU-Phinma team­mates Janelle Cabahug, Dyan Daranti­nao and Dij Ro­driguez, Univer­sity of South­ern Philip­pines Foun­da­tion’s Jan Gayo and Cristy­lyn Se­ludo, USC’s Deb­bie Gam­boa, Marie Mala­gar, and Cris Jezza Es­tose, Jackie Sing­son, Daniel- la Alfeche, Paula Man­i­nang, Lin­lyn To­rado and Sheen Du­rango of USJ-R, and Chris­ter Claro and Ellen Joy Gu­man­doy of the Univer­sity of Cebu.

Cesafi All-Star head coach Grace An­tigua gave her wards a fi­nal in­struc­tion in their fourth and fi­nal prac­tice yes­ter­day af­ter­noon at the USC Main gym.

“I just told them to en­joy and give their best. I don’t ex­pect much be­cause we all know what are the ca­pa­bil­i­ties of Manila play­ers,” An­tigua said.


The roster of the Cesafi All-Star team that will go up against the F2 Lo­gis­tics Cargo Movers on Fri­day and Satur­day at the Univer­sity of San Car­los Main gym.
