DSWD seeks kin of aban­doned baby

THE Re­cep­tion and Study Cen­ter for Chil­dren (RSCC) of the Depart­ment of So­cial Wel­fare and De­vel­op­ment in Cen­tral Visayas is seek­ing the pub­lic’s as­sis­tance in lo­cat­ing the par­ents and rel­a­tives of an aban­doned baby.

Chris­tian Al­buro was born on Au­gust 20, 2017.

The child was aban­doned by his mother Vir­ginia Fran­cisco Al­buro on Au­gust 22 at around 11 a.m. at the Vi­cente Sotto Memo­rial Med­i­cal Cen­ter.

The par­ents and rel­a­tives are re­quested to visit so­cial worker Vilma Cosido at the RSCC of­fice on Camo­mot Franza Road, Katipunan Street, Barangay La­ban­gon, Cebu City or call the of­fice at 414-0243.

Fail­ure of the par­ties to ap­pear or claim the child within the pe­riod of one month will sub­ject the child to aban­don­ment pro­ceed­ings at the DSWD Cen­tral Of­fice.
