IBP-Cebu Olympics Fest un­folds to­day

THE In­te­grated Bar of the Philip­pines(IBP)Ce­buChap­ter will kick off its Olympics Fest 2017 to­day in cel­e­bra­tion of their an­nual Law Week.

IBP Cebu pres­i­dent Mund­lyn Misal-Martin said in a press con­fer­ence at the Knight At­tack Chess Cafe in Robin­sons Gal­le­ria Cebu last Fri­day that this year’s sports­fest will mark the first time to have non­lawyer par­tic­i­pants.

It will also be the first time in 13 years for IBP Cebu to have a mul­ti­sport­ing event in their yearly cel­e­bra­tion.

Their first shoot­ing com­pe­ti­tion, a level-1 Philip­pine Prac­ti­cal Shoot­ing As­so­cia- tion (PPSA) sanc­tioned match, will take place to­day at the Ka­m­agong Gun Club Shoot­ing Range.

The bowl­ing and bil­liard events are slated to­mor­row at the SM City Cebu Bowl­ing and Leisure Cen­ter while the bad­minton com­pe­ti­tion will take place on Sept. 23 at the Metro Sports Cen­ter in Lahug.

The bas­ket­ball event will run from Sept. 21-23 at the Capi­tol Parish Gym while chess, which is open only to Class-B play­ers, will be at the Knight At­tack Chess Cafe in Robin­sons Gal­le­ria Cebu on Sept. 24.
