Coca-Cola and Twit­ter amp up taste of Pi­noy mu­sic with #CokeS­tu­dioPH emoji and retweet to re­mind ac­tiv­ity

ORIG­I­NAL Pi­noy Mu­sic (OPM) fans can get first dibs to see their fa­vorite Pi­noy mu­sic icons live as Coca-Cola and Twit­ter col­lab­o­rate to launch unique ac­tiv­i­ties for Coke Stu­dio. The first of its kind in the Philip­pines, Coke Stu­dio (#CokeS­tu­dioPH) is a weekly TV show that brings an ex­cit­ing and fresh take in cre­at­ing OPM.

Twit­ter un­veiled a cus­tom­ized emoji with the hash­tag, #CokeS­tu­dioPH, so that fans can brighten up their Tweets while they cheer for their fa­vorite mu­si­cians.

“Coca-Cola and Twit­ter both share a sim­i­lar com­mit­ment that is to en­gage, in­spire and unite youth with mean­ing­ful con­ver­sa­tions of what is hap­pen­ing. Coke Stu­dio uti­lizes mu­sic as an in­stru­ment of unity, a uni­ver­sal lan­guage that cre­ates an emo­tional con­nec­tion that is be­yond just words. On the other hand, teens spend quite a sig­nif­i­cant time on so­cial me­dia ev­ery­day – from watch­ing videos, lis­ten­ing to mu­sic, dis­cussing, shar­ing con­tent or even cre­at­ing their own. We need to be a part of that, to con­tin­u­ally en­cour­age them to ex­press them­selves and be open to oth­ers. Work­ing with Twit­ter will en­able us to achieve just that,” said Stephan Czy­p­i­onka-Vice Pres­i­dent for Mar­ket­ing, Coca-Cola Philip­pines.

Every week, fans can get first ac­cess pass to the lat­est episodes of the show by sim­ply retweet­ing the @Co­caCo­laPH tweet.

Fans who retweeted the post will re­ceive alerts for each up­com­ing episodes of the week and will get to watch it via Twit­ter and Periscope TV. Mu­sic fans and afi­ciona­dos will be treated with on­go­ings of the show as they hap­pen, and will get a chance to in­ter­act with their fa­vorite artists on Twit­ter.
