Diet In A Box took up the challenge of serving the Cebuanos the meals that address these excuses because they believe that Cebuanos need a healthier way of eating.
Diet In A Box started in March 2015 by two friends Chime Bell Osabel and Amadeus Go ‘ Chef Bibo’ Moreno who are driven by their advocacy which is to revolutionize the way people perceive healthy meals by serving healthy, organic and calorie-counted meals.
The ingredients come from Chef Bibo’s organic farm in the town of Aloguinsan. Sometimes when their farm is exhausted, they outsource their ingredients from neighboring towns like Carcar and Balamban.
Their meals are designed to fit the preferences of their clients such as those who want to lose weight, maintain their weight and gain weight.
Every Thursday, a menu will be posted on their site where clients can submit their orders.
It is a 5-day menu, with several calorie options to choose from depending on one’s preference from 800 to 1800 calories.
Aside from their advocacy of promoting healthy eating, Diet In A Box also prioritize their customer service.
There is nothing more convenient when your food is delivered to your home or office or wherever you prefer it to be delivered. You can have them at 6:30 in the morning, their earliest delivery time, and until 3:30 p.m., the latest delivery.
Whole day meals are delivered from Monday to Friday.
The mode of payment is also very convenient, just cash on delivery. The meals for the entire week has to be paid on Monday.
Upon receiving your food, the rest of the meals for the day should be refrigerated to keep them fresh since they contain no preservatives.
This why they were awarded as the Best Healthy Menu by the National Nutrition Council ( NNC). They were also awarded as Best Healthy Dish for the 43rd NNC- DOH’s Nutrition Month.
Currently, they have thousands of clients, however, their weekly ceiling is 350 clients only to ensure the quality of the food served.
They also have prominent and loyal customers like Jude Bacalso and Gio Visitacion.
Aside from their loyal customers, part of their clientele are cancer patients.
