The difference between good brows and great ones lies in the grooming.
Brow game finally on fleek with these tips!
Powder “Brow powder makes continuity more believable than ‘drawn on’ arches,” says brow expert Amy Jean Linnehan. Use an angled brush to apply product in upward strokes. GEL Lighter than wax, gel is perfect for girls who have full brows. “Set any rogue hairs to the skin using a clear brow gel in an upward and outward manner,” says Linnehan. wax “A brow wax will aid in training brows to stay in place,” says Linnehan. Ideal for thick, coarse hairs, apply sparingly with an angled eyebrow brush. Mascara When there’s less than a minute to do your face, comb brows upward and outward with a colored brow mascara. This will add fullness without the need for too much precision. “These are also ideal for when lighter hairs come through,” says Linnehan. HIGHLIGHTER Apply this before brow products. “Brow highlighters will visually ‘lift’ the area,” says Linnehan. “Use a long, flat sable brush with a rounded end to blend along the bone under the brow.”
PENCIL “For definition, use a pencil,” says Linnehan. Start at the base of the brow and use a feathering motion towards the arch. “Brush over it with a lash comb once you’re finished to blur out any severity.”
