the body is pretty amazing—it takes only about two weeks of cardio twice a week to sense a change. strength training may take four weeks to get used to. to help tough exercises feel doable, warm up for a few minutes to get your blood pumping. then work large muscles with slow, controlled movements, like squats and lunges, before faster ones, like burpees. same goes for cardio—jog before you sprint.
