DAMASO RESIDENCIA

FILIPINO

Eats - - SAN JUAN -

Damaso Residencia merges the comforts of home and the epicurean delights of haute cuisine. With brothers George and Chris, and partners Chito Vijandre, Ricky Toledo and Dan Lichauco, Chef Bambi Sy Gobio—the genius behind Restaurante Pia Y Damaso at Greenbelt 5 and behind Luscious on Ayala Avenue—opened her Swiss Chalet home at Ortigas Avenue in Greenhills for private dining. The unique dining experience begins with the cozy elegance of Damaso Residencia’s formal dining area, with its lush, eclectic interiors inspired by French and Italian in"uences. Also reserved for your personal enjoyment and private space are the salon, which echoes the bold prints, stripes and startling reds of the dining area, as well as the gardens, where you can enjoy after-dinner coffee. Private dining brings with it not only personalized and attentive service, but also, and most especially, home-cooked food customized by Chef Bambi, leading to singular, adventurous menu choices to suit your preferences. Chef Bambi, trained at the Culinary Institute of America in New York, can whip up dishes based on her treasured family recipes as well as those that she has learned, re-imagined and re-created at the various restaurants and hotels in New York and in Toronto where she worked. What she has been most known for is her Roasted Turkey with her signature chorizo stuf!ng, served with a side dish of sweet corn, vegetables, gravy from the turkey drippings and cranberry. At Damaso Residencia, your imagination—and Chef Bambi’s—is the limit.
