When asked where milk comes from, some urban preschoolers would answer, “from a carton” or “at the supermarket”. Adults would find this humorous, but therein lies the problem that modern man may have lost touch with his food roots.
F&B World talks to two entrepreneurs who locate their businesses at the two ends of the food spectrum. On the production side, Senator Kiko Pangilinan raises organic produce at his farm in Cavite and on the consumer end, celebrity food entrepreneur Erwan Heussaff encourages people to make healthier choices via his website The Fat Kid Inside and through his restaurant ventures.
