The enforcer

FHM (Philippines) - - VERGE -

Do you want a guard dog, or do you want a companion? Mel Tuason, a breeder and current owner of 10 Dobermans, tells us that Dobermans aren’t actually as aggressive as they’re made out to be. Despite their massive size, hardened face, and frighteningly athletic physique, it’s still ultimately up to the owner to mould their temperament.

Hidden potential: So how do you keep a Doberman from trying to murder you in your sleep? Tuason says you should give them their own, personal space, and that owners should be “mild” when handling them. “Never hurt them. Just because they’re a Doberman doesn’t mean they’re aggressive.”

If you're a gamer, you'll recognize the breed as the Resident Evil video game and film franchise's zombie dogs. The fictional hounds are actually Dobermans, which have been infected by the T-virus.
