30+ minutes or more The 10-Step Routine*
Step 1 Start with an oil cleanser or, for nighttime, your makeup remover.
Step 2 Wash with a water-based cleanser.
Step 3 Exfoliate with a gentle scrub or peel once or twice a week.
Step 4 Remove any residue with a toner.
Step 5 Start your skin care “treatment” by applying an essence all over your face.
Step 6 Use an ampoule, serum, or booster on problem areas to target skin concerns.
Step 7 Nourish skin with a sheet mask (ideally at nighttime) once or twice a week.
Step 8 Pamper and protect the eye area with an eye cream.
Step 9 Hydrate properly with the right moisturizer all over your face and neck.
Step 10 Top up with sunscreen with at least SPF 15, no matter the weather (for daytime).
5 to 10 minutes The Simplified Regimen
Step 1 Wash with an oil cleanser/makeup remover or your water-based cleanser.
Step 2 Remove any residue with a toner.
Step 3 Use an ampoule, serum, or booster on problem areas.
Step 4 Pamper and protect the eye area with an eye cream.
Step 5 Hydrate properly with the right moisturizer all over your face and neck.
Step 6 Top up with sunscreen with at least SPF 15 in the a.m.
2 to 5 minutes The BASIC Routine
Step 1 Wash your face with the right cleanser for your skin type.
Step 2 De-grease with a toner if you have oily skin, or improve moisture with an essence or serum.
Step 3 Moisturize and protect with a hydrator with built-in SPF and, ideally, anti-aging properties.
