In the past, you've worked in marketing communications. Did it contribute or give you the inspiration to build and manage your own company?

HWM (Philippines) - - Q+A -

After my stint in Lintas, and later on Fasttrack, my colleagues and I decided to put up our own marketing communications agency called Mindset. It was a lot of hard work, but very rewarding. It helps that you work with people you truly get along with. In 2012, my husband invited me to join him set up Cascos Inc. Even if it is a completely different field, since I am now in distribution, I feel that the experience I've gained in setting up my own company in the past is helping me deal with the challenges that now come our way. My experience in advertising is also very helpful, because we constantly need to market our products.
