K-Zone (Philippines) - - YOU GOT GAME - Treia Pe Benito tells us what’s cool about Lode Runner 1.

Gameplay

Lode Runner 1 is an upgraded versh of the original Lode Runner. Basically, you collect gold and avoid the robots that guard them. Once you’ve nabbed all the gold in a level, a door opens up and transports you to the next one. You also get to unlock characters and modes when you finish certain stages.

Graphics

The game’s 16-bit graphics are beyond. The devs kept the classic blue theme but added new elements like slick backgrounds that look way modern!

Sound

Players will hear a cool 8-bit SFX whenever a character collects gold. The main theme also sounds like a rock song that you’d hear on the radio.

Replay

Just like in the original video game, you can create your own levels in the Stage Editor mode. Aside from the Classic mode, there’s a Challenge mode where you play against other gamers to see who can finish the puzzles in the shortest time.

Overall

I am deffo digging Lode Runner 1 with its ace gameplay and mind-blowing graphics. Both old-school and modern gamers should totes check it out.
