The Philippine Bamboo Flag Museum was officially unveiled last June 11 at the Ayala Triangle Gardens. Its unique setup allowed visitors to walk through the open-air museum to view snippets of Philippine history via different mediums. The event opened with a cultural show which showcased traditional songs, a lively balagtasan, and some folk dances. National Historical Commission of the Philippines Chairman Maria Serena Diokno delivered a speech covering the resiliency of the Filipino people. The Philippine Bamboo Flag Museum's unveiling marked the celebration of the 115th anniversary of Philippine independence.
