In the Mood for Lights
It's not Christmas in Makati without the streetlight installations
When Ayala Avenue, Makati Avenue, Paseo de Roxas, and South Avenue carried unique light designs of flowers and foliage, everybody knew Christmas had begun in Makati.
Last Nov. 3 at exactly six in the evening, thousands of city crawlers witnessed the debut of the dazzling display of more than a million LED lights. “We wanted our Christmas installations to be elegant, as well as meaningful, the way Christmas should be celebrated,” said Mel Ignacio, Assistant Vice President of Ayala Land.
The lights captured the celebratory mood with their semblance of fireworks with intricate geometric and flower-like patterns. Last year marked the third year of the festive light installation.
