It's not Christ­mas in Makati with­out the street­light in­stal­la­tions

When Ayala Av­enue, Makati Av­enue, Paseo de Roxas, and South Av­enue car­ried unique light de­signs of flow­ers and fo­liage, ev­ery­body knew Christ­mas had be­gun in Makati.

Last Nov. 3 at ex­actly six in the evening, thou­sands of city crawlers wit­nessed the de­but of the daz­zling dis­play of more than a mil­lion LED lights. “We wanted our Christ­mas in­stal­la­tions to be el­e­gant, as well as mean­ing­ful, the way Christ­mas should be cel­e­brated,” said Mel Ig­na­cio, As­sis­tant Vice Pres­i­dent of Ayala Land.

The lights cap­tured the cel­e­bra­tory mood with their sem­blance of fire­works with in­tri­cate geo­met­ric and flower-like pat­terns. Last year marked the third year of the fes­tive light in­stal­la­tion.
