A VISUAL DIARY
RUNS UNTIL OCT. 11 GF GALLERY, AYALA MUSEUM
When words and memory fail us, images can save the day. Historically, visual artists have acted as chroniclers, telling our collective story through visual narratives that capture incidents, experiences, or states of being during a specific moment or period through arresting paintings. National Artist Fernando Amorsolo is one of them, and in commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Manila, Ayala Museum presents the artist's paintings from the war years, on loan from several public and private collections, with an ongoing exhibit.
