Napolcom exams

Manila Bulletin - - National News -

A total of 240 out of the 1,197 candidates for the promotional exams for inspector and superintendent positions at the Philippine National Police hurdled the test administered by the National Police Commission (Napolcom) for a lowly 20 percent passing rate. Napolcom vice-chairman Rogelio Casurao said the passing percentage rate for the inspector exam is 15.59 percent (157 of 1,007 examinees) while the passing rate for superintendent exam is 43.68 percent (83 of 190 examinees). He said that the low passing rate in both exam categories may be attributed to the commission’s continuous upgrading of standards on its police examinations. (Chito A. Chavez)
