Shortlist set for next AFP Chief

Armed Forces of the Philippine­s (AFP) spokesman Brig. Gen. Restituto Padilla said yesterday that the AFP Board of Generals (BOG) has already met and discussed the names who could replace General Eduardo Año as next AFP chief of staff. In an interview, Padilla said as far as he is concerned the Board of Generals already met and they already formed a shortlist of names that could replace Ano who is set to retire early on June 2, and take over the position as Interior and Local Government (DILG) secretary.
