of ketamine worth 11,501,250.00; 9,002.33 grams of marijuana worth 1135,034.95; 16,258.26 grams of ephedrine worth 1650,330.40; and 896 grams of pseudoephedrine worth 309,657.60; among others, and other expired medicines weighing 30,000 grams, with a total estimated value of 16,001,826,947.80.

“We want the public to witness the destruction of dangerous drugs seized by drug enforcement officers to allay public apprehensions that these illegal drugs and illicit substances are being reused, recycled or sold back in the streets,” said PDEA Director General Aaron N. Aquino.

To ensure an end to the illegal drug trade in the country, Aquino gave his regional directors a quota of between 30 to 40 operations per month as he sees the need to level up the agency’s commitment in removing all drug contraband on the streets.
