Rhian Ramos in no rush to marry her businessman BF

Even though most of her friends in show business are either engaged or already hitched, wedding bells won’t ring for Rhian Ramos and her businessman boyfriend Jason Choachuy anytime soon.

Even though most of her friends in show business are either engaged or already hitched, wedding bells won’t ring for Rhian Ramos and her businessman boyfriend Jason Choachuy anytime soon. “Hindi ko naman masasabi na hindi siya nag-cross sa mind ko because it is happening and we attended weddings together pa, so maiisip ko rin na what would it be like kung ako din. Pero hindi din talaga ako nagmamadali, eh. At saka wala pa akong feeling na I’m running out of time,” she said at the presscon for “Fallback,” a film showing tomorrow co-starring Zanjoe Marudo. Pressed to put a finger harder on her stand, Rhian dug deeper. “Wala pa ako doon, eh. I spent my childhood kasi na nagmamadali to grow up tapos now that I’ve grown up ay gusto ko lang umatras. Ini-enjoy ko lang talaga kung ano ang relationship namin ngayon. I don’t see naman any problem with the way it is.” Rhian does not feel her biological clock ticking. But is it the same with 32-year-old Jason? “Does he get the feeling na he’s running out of time? I don’t think so. Feeling ko kasi ’yung clock ng lalaki iba sa clock ng babae. Parang they really have more time. I’m not saying that it’s true na ganito talaga pero sinasabi ko na most of the time some people feel na hanggang 60 years old ang guy, he’s still a catch. Sometimes they don’t feel it about girls. Minsan nagmamadali ang girl,” explained the 27-yearold actress. So what will make her take the plunge? Will unplanned pregnancy do it? “Feeling ko hindi kasi families are very modern nowadays. Although mas malaking commitment ang anak kaysa sa partner, feeling ko, ha, I would think na pwede pa rin naman siyang maging parte ng buhay ng bata even without marriage.” Asked what she thinks is ideal age for marriage, Rhian said, “Before kasi ang goal ko is 35. Hindi bum- ababa ’yung number all these years. Ever since I was 15, this is the plan. Hindi pa rin nagbabago ang number. “Naisip ko din na baka it’s better to have a baby (when I’m still young) pero I have friends in their mid-40’s that are stronger than me and do Parkour and things like that. Feeling ko age is really just a number.”

Rhian felt shy around Zanjoe on the first shooting day of “Fallback.” “Nu’ng first day po namin I was very shy, he (Zanjoe) was very shy. Parang ano, challenge siya to get to know. And then noong bandang second

half na noong movie doon na kami nag-o-open up sa isa’t-isa and I wish it happened sooner. Pero ayon, meron

pa naman kaming promotional period to enjoy each other’s company.”

With talents changing network allegiance, Rhian was asked if she’s open to moving to another studio.

More to the point: Can ABS-CBN be her fallback?

“I don’t know what to say to that. But I’m very happy with everything that I have right now. So I don’t really feel the need to change anything at the moment.”
