Mutilated body

CAMP COLONEL RAFAEL C. RODRIGUEZ, Butuan City – The regional command of Northeaste­rn Mindanao Police Regional Office 13 (PRO 13) on Saturday ordered police officers in the field to thoroughly investigat­e the killing of a victim who was mutilated and his body parts scattered on the banks of a river in Purok 7, Barangay Noli, in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur province. The regional command of PRO 13 also ordered the commanders of Agusan del Sur Police Provincial Office (PPO), Bayugan City Police Station (BCPS) and the Criminal Investigat­ion and Detection Group (CIDG) to look for the other parts of the body of the still unidentifi­ed person. At 5 p.m. on Thursday, villagers smelled a foul odor along the riverside in Purok 7, Barangay Noli, Bayugan City. Responding police force, along with some of the villagers discovered plastic cellophane­s containing severed human hands and feet. (Mike U. Crismundo)
