US Pres­i­dent Don­ald Trump com­mended Pres­i­dent Ro­drigo Duterte for his host­ing of the 31st sum­mit of the As­so­ci­a­tion of South­east Asian Na­tions (Asean), a fo­rum that the bil­lion­aire real es­tate mogul said should re­main “free and open.”
