Owned by chef and restaurateur Marvin Agustin and contemporary artist Leeroy New, Kondwi promises to deliver delicious, inventive food, tasteful cocktails, and out-of-this-world art. What sets this apart from most bars is that it behaves more like a speakeasy, with music kept low and interiors made cozy, to maintain an atmosphere conducive to conversation. While all that happens on the lower floor, up on the second floor is where the art takes center stage, featuring an interesting collection of art by local artists.
