Sari’s tips on cooking for the family:
Keep your pantry and fridge stocked with healthy foods that are lower in sodium and fat. Get your kids involved in the process of cooking family meals. Have family members check out cookbooks or online recipe collections and choose a few new recipes to try out. Allow each family member to choose the menu on a regular rotation. Set the table more elaborately, or have one of the kids set it for the whole family. Add cloth napkins, placemats or flowers.
I like living in the North because of its close proximity
to our kids' schools. Not to mention the number of malls
we have nearby.
