DETOX DO’S AND DON’TS
Get a doctor’s approval before doing any detox regimen. Prepare your body to ease your way into the detox. Lessen your intake of meat, caffeine, dairy, processed/ fast foods, etc. Do your research and determine which detox plan is right not only for your body but also for your lifestyle. Factor in considerations such as your workout and type of work. Hydrate. Drink plenty of water during detox. Don’t do detox just to “purge” from overindulging in food. This may result to a yo-yo diet. After the detox, it’s important to not “shock” your body by going back to your old eating habits. Include more fruits and veggies to your meals. Opt to continue drinking the healthy juices together with your meals. Don’t do the detox just because it’s the trend. Use it to jumpstart to a healthier way of living.
