Preven­dido’s sis­ter urged to ‘sur­ren­der’

ILOILO City – The Po­lice Re­gional Of­fice 6 ( PRO- 6) urged Barangay Cap­tain Remia Preven­dido Gre­gori of Bakhaw, Man­dur­riao district to present her­self to the po­lice for “bi­o­log­i­cal” pro­fil­ing.

Gre­gori is a sis­ter of fugi­tive and sus­pected drug lord Richard Preven­dido. The Philip­pine Drug En­force­ment Agency (PDEA) Re­gion 6 has clas­si­fied her a “high-value tar­get, level 2.”

“If Gre­gori re­fuses to sur­ren­der, we will sub­ject her to an an­tidrug op­er­a­tion,” said Se­nior Su­per­in­ten­dent Christo­pher Tam­bun­gan, PRO- 6’ s over­all committee chair­man on il­le­gal drugs.

Gre­gori was one of the three barangay cap­tains that the city coun­cil re­cently in­ves­ti­gated for the con­tin­ued pro­lif­er­a­tion of il­le­gal drugs in their re­spec­tive ar­eas. The two
