PUEBLO DE ORO CHAMPIONSHIP

South Korean Kim Joo Hyung proudly poses with the trophy representing his breakthrough win as a pro. On Saturday, the 16-year-old became the youngest winner in the ICTSI Tour after ruling the Pueblo deOro Championship in Cagayan de Oro by a stroke over Jobim Carlos. Kim closed out with a three-under-par 69 for a 270 total, beating Carlos, the hottest player on the circuit who came into the event seeking a second straight win and third this season. Kim played in just his third tournament and beat the record of Miguel Tabuena, who first won when he was 17.
