GERI LAUNCHES NEW CONDO IN SOUTHWOODS

- —DORIS DUMLAO-ABADILLA

Megaworld group’s leisure estate arm Global-Estate Resorts Inc. (Geri) has rolled out a new residential condominium development in Southwoods City in Biñan, Laguna, creating P1.2 billion worth of fresh residential inventory for Southern Luzon homeseekers.

The 22-story residential tower Tulip Gardens—Geri’s second residential offering in Southwoods—offers units ranging from studio size at up to 28.5 square meters to one-bedroom units with a footprint of 41 square meters, Geri said in a statement.

Some units will have their own lanai, allowing residents to enjoy the refreshing views of Southwoods City, and the Laguna and Cavite landscapes.

The project is scheduled to be completed by 2023.

Tulip Gardens was launched following what Geri described as “overwhelming” sales of its first residential project in Southwoods, the four-story Holland Park.

“The spike in the demand for residential condo units in Southwoods City was a big surprise considering that the township has been known for its vast horizontal residential villages like Pahara,” said Rachelle Peñaflorida, vice president for sales and marketing, at Megaworld Global-Estate, Inc. (MGEI), the marketing arm of Geri’s residential projects.
