Jovielyn Prado rat­tled in 14 points as Tacloban pulled off a 15-25, 25-23, 22-25, 25-20, 1513 squeaker over PetroGazz Satur­day night in the Premier Vol­ley­ball League Open Con­fer­ence at Malo­los Con­ven­tion Cen­ter.

The Fight­ing Warays snapped a three-game los­ing streak and man­aged to re­main in con­tention for the Fi­nal Four with a 5-7 record.

But though it was Prado who did the most dam­age, Heather Guino-o ap­plied the fin­ish­ing touches as she scored three points late in the fifth frame.

Down 7-10, Guino-o tried ral­lied the Fight­ing Warays late in the de­cid­ing set, ham­mer­ing a base­line hit as they come to within 11-12 be­fore an Angels’ at­tack­ing er­ror tied the match.

Guino-o then gave Tacloban the lead with a kill­block off PetroGazz star Stephanie Mer­cado.
