If you want to check out a two-star Miche­lin chef's take on a "sexy, ca­sual, French-style bistro," this is worth go­ing to. The food is straight­for­ward but very good.


Tucked away in a bright and lively cor­ner of Boni­fa­cio Global City, Ate­lier Vi­vanda's French chef, Akrame Be­nal­lal, has made ne­go­ti­at­ing the in­tri­ca­cies of French cui­sine easy. Just go for La For­mule, which con­sists of an appetiser, a main course, sides, and dessert. Start with the de­lec­ta­ble green pea soup with soft-boiled egg. The black An­gus ham­per is ten­der and ex­pertly sea­soned. No fuss, just plain good. Mix this with the three­way potato sam­pler. Fin­ish it off with a bang, and get the straw­berry soup. It'll leave you want­ing for more.
