TATLER TIPS
The pastry shop introduced Manila’s sweet tooth to macarons de Paris has gone a long way. For almost two decades, Bizu (from the French word for kiss, has come out with delicious offerings like the unforgettable warm caramelised apples with brie and the refreshing burrata with berries— both just introduced late last year. Continuing to please, however, are time-tested favourites like the French-inspired caviar and smoked salmon terrine and the decadent 10-hour roast beef. Join Bizu’s big breakfast crowd, stay through lunch, and before leaving, do not forget to bring home one or two macarons to devour on the way home.
