In cel­e­bra­tion of the shared culi­nary her­itage of the two coun­tries, The Em­bassy of Spain in the Philip­pines treated se­lect guests to a de­lec­ta­ble Tapas Night at the Green Sun Ho­tel. Held along­side Madrid Fu­sion Manila 2017, three teams of renowned chefs in­clud­ing Miko Aspi­ras, Mar­garita Forès and Chele Gon­za­lez, pro­duced mouth­wa­ter­ing Span­ish dishes with the use of lo­cally-sourced in­gre­di­ents. Also on of­fer was an ex­quis­ite spread of Span­ish cheeses, char­cu­terie and ne­gra jamón Iberico. Themed “To­ward a Sus­tain­able Gas­tro­nomic Planet,” the Tapas Night was also part of the Flavours of the Philip­pines, a month-long culi­nary fes­ti­val that high­lights the coun­try's unique re­gion-based cuisines. www.spainbusi­ness.com
