Cul­ture, great food, and en­dur­ing hope—these words en­com­pass the charm­ing and bustling con­crete jun­gle that is Seoul. This city at the heart of South Korea is truly re­mark­able, a vi­brant melt­ing pot of tra­di­tion and con­stant change.

Our ad­ven­ture be­gan last De­cem­ber when my fam­ily de­cided to travel to Korea. While pack­ing, I checked the weather app on my phone and it said the tem­per­a­ture in Seoul could drop to a low 8°C. Com­ing from the trop­ics,
