All in a Day’s Work
We delve into the busy life of mum- preneur Stephanie ZubiriCrespi as she shows us what it entails to be chosen as one of this year’s Asia’s Most Stylish
tephanie arrived on time, unfazed by the frenzy that surrounded her in one of the suites of Shangri-La Residences at the Fort where this cover shoot would take place. Unknown to everyone in the room, it was her birthday; when this was soon revealed, her smile would shift to a sheepish grin whenever anybody tried to make a fuss about it.
Raymund Isaac, one of the most sought-after photographers in the industry, checked in on hair and make-up status as his team began to set up for the first take. In line with the theme of this issue, the looks for the shoot were designed to be true to Stephanie’s style. To achieve this, Steph brought a selection of her favourite items from her own wardrobe and plenty of her beautiful shoes.
At some point in the afternoon, her adorable little boys Sebastian and Maximilian—who is barely a year old—arrived. Stephanie revealed her true prowess as a working mum, attending to her boys in-between takes—which meant juggling hair and make-up, change of outfits, and nursing her baby!
Her energy didn’t wane until the end of the shoot, but she did recharge when the ShangriLa crew came in with her surprise birthday cake and champagne. She gleefully anounced that there was still another birthday celebration to prepare for, this time with her husband, for when she gets home.
How does she do it? For the full story, turn to page 1 . Special thanks to Lesley Tan, director of communications of Shangri-La at the Fort, and her team.
