FUELLING THE FIGHT
The celebrates the strength and resilience of breast cancer survivors at its 2017 fashion show
The ICanServe Foundation celebrates the strength of breast cancer survivors at this year’s Fashion Can Serve on 8 October at the Raffles Hotel. With the theme Why We Fight, the show features holiday collections by designers Mia Arcenas, JC Buendia, Ito Curata, Vania Romoff, Cary Santiago, and Rosenthal Tee. According to ICanServe president Tang Singson, “Our theme emphasises the reason why breast cancer patients choose to fight: it’s for their spouses, children, and grandchildren.” The face of Fashion Can Serve 2017 is Maureen Wroblewitz, the first Filipina to win Asia’s Next Top Model, who will be walking in memory of her mother, a former ICanServe volunteer who succumbed to the disease.
