STAY IN LINE
It’s always great when color is used for fall, and even greater when it comes out so simple—no 3-D blending work, no intricate contouring required. This look is reminiscent of the ’80s, palette- and geometry-wise (minus potentially embarrassing caked foundation), and focuses on one key accent that does all the work: bright eyeliner. You can play with all the colors you like as long as you keep the rest of your face clean and glowing. Kenzo used two tones (pink and blue), applied very minimally and precisely. Best use a colored pencil liner, whose packed pigment and cream formula will give an easy glide for whatever shape. Try Eye of Horus’ Goddess Eye Pencil in Jewel Amethyst (P990, calyxta. com) and NARS’ Velvet Eyeliner in Kaliste (P1350, Rustan’s).
