QHow high must the room’s ceiling height be for us to be able to install a ceiling fan? — Cherry Apolinario via Facebook

AThe standard ceiling height for interiors is at least 2.4m. This height can comfortably accommodate a ceiling fan, but in case your ceiling height falls short, you can still make do with it. Measure the height of your ceiling fan and deduct it from your existing floor-to-ceiling height. If you get 2.1m (which is the standard for door height) or anything higher, that’s good enough.
