Real Living hosted its third annual Real Living Space, the magazine’s ultimate shopping and design showhouse, this past September, giving attendees the chance to walk through the pages of Real Living for design and style inspiration like only the Philippines’ best-selling home magazine can.

Held in Mandaluyong City and presented by Avida, JamesHardie, Boysen and American Standard, this year’s event featured the work of 11 designers, architects and stylists who brought six spaces to life at the Avida Towers Centera showroom, including studio, onebedroom and two-bedroom spaces. This year’s talented team, made up of Kristine Neri-Magturo, John Vigilia, Misty Floro and Pai Edles of Morfosis Design, Allen Oblena, Vera Villarosa-Orila, Kat VillanuevaLopez, Pam Tan, and Paul Baes and Joel Salazar of Lucina, and Camyl Besinga, transformed the bare spaces — complete with a fresh coat of paint into chic, cool and practical designs that can be reproduced in one’s own home.

Following the Real Living Space media and VIP launch and ribboncutting ceremony on Thursday, September 24, the magazine opened the doors to the venue to the public over the weekend to give everyone a chance to see Real Living in real life and show them ways they can update their own spaces, no matter their style preferences. Additionally, guests had the chance to buy products featured in the design of the spaces, participate in enlightening DIY and home improvement workshops, and speak with designers and brand representatives about their own project concerns at a special trade fair on the grounds.

The designers along with RL and Avida cut the ribbon to open RL Space 2015. RL editor Rachelle Medina and publisher Tom Castaneda at the opening. Noted interior designer Leo Almeria gives a talk on fabric for Townes.
