Happy Holidays from the Real living team! (From l-r): assistant style editor Tala Singson, web managing editor Cielo Calzado, editorial assistant Trisia Tolentino, creative director nat Clave, print managing editor Sunshine Funa, web associate features editor Katherine lopez, editor in chief Rachelle Medina, associate publisher Tom Castañeda, web staffwriter gab Buganan, deputy associate editor Dagny Madamba Just because a “condemned” sign hangs on a door, that doesn’t mean that the whole building is hopeless. Take the formerly abandoned Metropolitan Theater, for instance. Once we stepped inside its empty but majestic lobby, we could almost feel its innate energy, its creaking doors and echoing marble floors almost bristling with life. And through the diligence of organizations that care, it will have its long-awaited rebirth soon.

This is clear proof that things (and people!) deserve a second chance. And after a tumultuous year, there will begin another year, and with it, a consciousness about rebuilding and protecting those around us. And no signs are needed, please.
