Art lover Marco Torres shares with us his tips for choosing and displaying art, regardless of the floor area of your home. 1. Choose something that

moves you. “Art doesn’t have to be expensive. You can always find something nice at any price. In the end, you might want to invest, but when you start, just buy what you like. You buy it because you enjoy looking at it. It evokes an emotion from you.”

2. Match art to your interiors. “If you want to display your art, it will have to match the theme of your room. If everything else is modern, an Amorsolo might be out of place.” 3. Use art to inject life into

a space. “Whatever blank space you have that you think needs livening up, then put art, add colors... Maybe the main artwork can be the palette for the rest of the room. Or [if] the rest of the room is so neutral, you can add more colors through art.”
