Scout - - THE MUNCHIES - —Felipe Diokno, 25, transport data analyst

“Bacon. Fried egg. Fried rice. Those are pretty much it. Those were my favorite foods as a kid. There was a time in my life where I didn’t eat anything but bacon, and that’s when I got really sick; my parents had to trick me into eating vegetables by putting it in my burger. I remember the name of the illness I had, but I’m not sure exactly what it was. It was called ‘primary complex.’ I remember introducing myself to my friend’s parents in kindergarten: ‘Hi, I’m Felipe. I have primary complex.’ My mom was like, ‘That’s not how you are supposed to introduce yourself.’”

(Googles “primary complex.”) “Oh sh*t. It’s tuberculosis. (Laughs) Wow, I almost died.”
