In­side Neil’s Kitchen, you’ll nd a quirky stair­case lead­ing up to the main din­ing hall thatt is re­fresh­ingly min­i­mal­ist and rem­i­nis­cent of a Span­ish-styled liv­ing room cast in black and white. There are food quotes adorn­ing the walls,s, like “I like tak­ing long ro­man­tic walks to the fridge,” as well as a small li­brary sell­ing lo­cal books. The place is an In­sta­gram­mer’s de­light and we spend a few min­utes tak­ing pic­tures of the place be­fore as­cend­ing to the main hall. o- owner, Ed­win Men­doza, tells the story be­hind thishis restau­rant’s unique take on the Mod­ern Filipinoo restau­rant: “Neil’s Kitchen started as a ca­ter­ing busi­ness, and Neil Ramos, the head chef, was notic­ing the in uence of for­eign cui­sine in Filipino com­fort food, so we started Neil’s Kitchen to serve au­then­tic Filipino com­fort food with our own unique twist.” Try the Paella Va­len­cia with Span­ish Tem­pura and your fa­vorite mar­garita.
