Yvet Andalis: Power and personality
AppleOne’s best- kept secret
You meet very few people in this world with the same unceasing energy and dedication as AppleOne Properties Inc. executive vice president Yvet Andalis.
The company’s true gem and its best- kept secret, she single- handedly made a new player in the real estate industry become a household name all in one year.
It seemed Andalis didn’t have to break a sweat for AppleOne to break into the industry so successfully. It comes from her own natural instincts, being a seasoned real estate professional and having held high positions in MB Villar Group of Companies, ExtraOrdinary Development Corporation, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation, Metro Pacific Group and Ayala Land. She is also a licensed realtor in the United States.
In reality, she said it is a lot of hard work. But it is the kind of work that she loves doing.
“I lead a lean and mean operations and I am on top of everything from concept to pricing. But this is something that I enjoy doing. This is not work at all,” she explains.
New player, distinct product
With over 80 condominium projects in Cebu, AppleOne was in a tough spot when it started. It easily proved its grit with the success of its first project, the AppleOne- Equicom Tower in Cebu Business Park, and then when it took on the revolutionary project called AppleOne Banawa Heights.
“We have an innovative project to start with,” Andalis declares.
AppleOne Banawa Heights is a distinctly-themed subdivision that offers the hybrid concept of living in a condominium and a subdivision. It offers three unique real estate concepts— the Tower, the Villa and the Mansionette— that cater to the unserved market which is the middle- class and answers the need for location, accessibility and ambiance.
Bold and brave
Andalis is proud to say that they have a well- planned marketing strategy.
“From the launch of the AppleOne Banawa Heights project in January 2013, we have made every activity an income generating activity,” she reveals.
Aside from its presence in print, radio, TV and online, AppleOne mounted an international sales caravan. Its first stop was Dubai, which was a tremendous success. Just when they thought it couldn’t get any better, it did. Its sales caravan in the United States— San Francisco, Los Angeles and Las Vegas were even bigger successes!
Andalis is poised to sustain the success and interest about the company and its projects. This year it gets more exciting as the AppleOne team headed by Andalis will hit Japan, Australia and Canada.
“I need to outdo myself every time,” she affirms. And mark her word, she will.
