Baguio cops arrest 30 liquor ban violators
THIRTY individuals were rounded up by the Baguio City Police Office after violating the liquor ban on May 13 in the Summer Capital.
At least 14 were arrested by authorities from Station 7 at 10:45 in the evening inside a videoke bar in General Luna.
Arrested for violating the Omnibus Election Code are Ditas Esteban Liwayan, Noemy Lubata Esteban, Patrick Hamadon Dongayo, Edgar Nafiangor Cadiogan, Joshua Yago Madongit, Brent Ballang Basilio, Keever Salcedo Wanawan, Rodrigo Ret Gonzalo, Rexon Floresca Agumba, Danilo Senarillo Cawato, Jerome Mang-usan Mendoza, Reynaldo Saladagao Paguirigan, Nas Alabanza Soriano, and Jimboy Bantasan.
Confiscated from the suspects are three bottles of mixed gin drinks, four empty
bottles of green tea flavored drink, four plastic water pitchers, seven glasses, six shot glass and two 2 bottles of beer.
Later that evening, Station 7 police also swooped down a bar along Abanao Street at 11:35 p.m. and arrested Mark Badua Alvarez, Cherrylyn Paluyo Cia, Karen Dinlig Hiyadan, Noemi Bautista Paycan, Jedwyman Galuba Ronquillo, Johnmark Naboye Mariano, Eymard Eric Balliyao Ammakiw, Lendhol Galuba Gayasco, Jefferson Malabwit Ernesto, Tyson Porin Edtangki, Allan Amogao Bangwa, Percy Jim Ancheta Lugay, Marlon Ebanez Amogao, Marjoe Balanon, Rowena Banisa Lubrica, and Roda Sabado Ta-ao.
Confiscated pieces of evidence inside the establishment are five bottles of unopened beer; eight bottles of unconsumed beer, and five bottles of empty light beer.
