Baguio cops ar­rest 30 liquor ban vi­o­la­tors

THIRTY in­di­vid­u­als were rounded up by the Baguio City Po­lice Of­fice af­ter vi­o­lat­ing the liquor ban on May 13 in the Summer Cap­i­tal.

At least 14 were ar­rested by author­i­ties from Sta­tion 7 at 10:45 in the evening in­side a videoke bar in Gen­eral Luna.

Ar­rested for vi­o­lat­ing the Om­nibus Elec­tion Code are Di­tas Este­ban Li­wayan, Noemy Lu­bata Este­ban, Pa­trick Ha­madon Don­gayo, Edgar Nafi­an­gor Ca­dio­gan, Joshua Yago Madon­git, Brent Bal­lang Basilio, Keever Sal­cedo Wanawan, Rodrigo Ret Gon­zalo, Rexon Floresca Agumba, Danilo Se­nar­illo Cawato, Jerome Mang-usan Men­doza, Rey­naldo Sal­ada­gao Paguiri­gan, Nas Ala­banza So­ri­ano, and Jim­boy Ban­tasan.

Con­fis­cated from the sus­pects are three bot­tles of mixed gin drinks, four empty

bot­tles of green tea fla­vored drink, four plas­tic wa­ter pitch­ers, seven glasses, six shot glass and two 2 bot­tles of beer.

Later that evening, Sta­tion 7 po­lice also swooped down a bar along Abanao Street at 11:35 p.m. and ar­rested Mark Badua Al­varez, Cher­ry­lyn Paluyo Cia, Karen Din­lig Hiyadan, Noemi Bautista Pay­can, Jed­wyman Galuba Ron­quillo, John­mark Naboye Mar­i­ano, Ey­mard Eric Bal­liyao Am­makiw, Lend­hol Galuba Gayasco, Jef­fer­son Mal­ab­wit Ernesto, Tyson Porin Ed­tangki, Al­lan Amo­gao Bangwa, Percy Jim Ancheta Lu­gay, Mar­lon Ebanez Amo­gao, Mar­joe Balanon, Rowena Banisa Lubrica, and Roda Sabado Ta-ao.

Con­fis­cated pieces of ev­i­dence in­side the es­tab­lish­ment are five bot­tles of un­opened beer; eight bot­tles of un­con­sumed beer, and five bot­tles of empty light beer.
